What is your favorite way to fall asleep, not including drugs and alcohol?

with a smile on my face, having a sense of fulfillment, accomplishment. Yes, I also love to sleep under the stars. having a sense of serenity, oneness with the universe. Feeling loved and giving that feeling to others, makes for the sweetest dreams.

The sleep you get when you get back from a long stressful vacation and get to fall into your own bed. It's such a great feeling. The blankets and sheets smell so much better than you remember them before you left. Cuddling down into the comforter then drifting off into 'It's so good to be home' sleep, that's the best I've had lately.

I climb into my big pillowtopped mattress bed with my hubby lay my head on his shoulder and gaze out at the lake behind my home with a window open, a gentle breeze and the full moonlight on the lake. I really like it if we get a thundershower with lots of cloud to ground lightning. I love the smell of the rain and looking out as the lightning lights up the lake. I just fall asleep to nature's

noises, smell and sight, comfortable and cosy in my big bed.

When I was younger I liked to lay out on the porch swing and watch the stars and planes flying in the sky.. Now after having a house full of kids.. I like to put a pillow over my head, say a prayer and crash! :D

Freshly showered, after a busy day of doing something that I love, settling deep into fresh sheets and pillows, with a man I care about, arms wrapped around me and pressed up against me from behind

After a warm shower. I like to curl up in my easy chair and read the newspaper or enjoy a crossword puzzle and a nice hot cup of tea or hot chocolate....

After a hard day of playing in the garden, I like to take a hot bath and then curl up with a good horror novel til I get to sleepy to read any longer. :-)

After a hot shower or bath, watching the telly, once the body is horizontal......zzzzzzzzz

In a freshly made bed, in a cool room, with a soft comforter, and the wind howling at my windows.

Since this question is in "garden and landscape" I guess the answer should be in a flower bed?
