Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

2Ki 2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

I believe in both old testament and new testament as a good christian. The new testament is a testimony of the old. Elijah prophetized the coming of Jesus Christ, while Ezekiah gave prophesy of how his sackcloth was seized and divided among them in the old testament and it came to pass in new testament. Elijah was the only old prophet who did not die in the old testament.

There were 2 men (Elijah the prophet, and Enoch) who did not die, but were taken to heaven. It is presumed that they are the 2 prophets of God who will be slain in the streets of Jerusalem in the book of Revelation. The Bible says that it is given once for man to die,and since they haven't yet, they are considered to be these prophets.

Yes and there are 2 who did not die,

Enoch walk with God and he was not.

However Elijah was the only prophet and he was taken up in a whirlwind and a chariot of fire came between him and Elisha and he then received his mantel and a double portion of the Spirit

The prophet Elijah did not die.

The prophet Enoch was "translated". zzzzoooom!

Another old testament character that did not die was Melchezzadek. But that is a whole different topic and is found in the new testament Book of Hebrews, which says of itself that it is advanced learning in the things of God. Immature Christians just don't get it.

Yes, I believe in the OId Testament prophets, and yes, there was one who did not die...Elijah. In II Kings 2:11, it says, "And it came to pass, as they ["they" being Elijah and Elisha] still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven."

Elijah was translated into heaven without having to die to get there.

There were many prophets sent for the guidance of mankind.

The Prophet Esa (Peace be upon him) or Jesus as he is known to the christians did not die and was raised up.

According to the Old Testament, Elijah didn't die, but rather ascended to Heaven in a Chariot of Fire. This was apparently partially a result of his being unable to relate to and help the People of Israel. In later Rabbinic literature, the post-Chariot Elijah is shown to have reversed himself regarding zealotry, coming to help those in need, rather than to harshly educate them.
