    Hair straightners might work!

A panel beater should be able to straighten it for you. Any loose clinker you can get off with an angle grinder.

Finish off with a few coats of Hammerite gloss paint and you'll have a knob to be proud of.

hey you dont need to get it straightened. It may look funny but it will rub in all the right places when needed - trust me just wiggle yourself about.

Oh and you can get major surgery but would you relly want somebody to cut you there??
