Isn't it about time we nuked the Holy Land?
Think about it: We've got all these religions fighting over this piece of land. I say we clear it out and nuke it so there's nothing to fight over. What holy land? Problem solved.
Please know I'm only half serious. The other half is joking. The other half is beginning to plot. I'm one and a half people.
Of course "we." The only other option was "I," and I'm sure I wouldn't be alone.
It's so funny when smartass questions are taken seriously.

I'm with you, the sooner Jerusalem is utterly destroyed the better, not part of it,all of it. With the inhabitants safely moved out first preferably, those who wish to stay are the ones better off dead anyway. But seriously something has to be done, though true nuking it however tempting, is not a solution. I think it should be taken over by the U.N. and run as a separate city state with equal rights of worship for all concerned. It should not be owned by any country or religion as too many of both claim it and most have equal right to claim it. The best solution would be perhaps similar to the Vatican in Rome but obviously not owned or controlled by the Catholic church, but an elected council from within its Territorial boundaries and with equal representation of the major interested parties.

Let's say somebody DID nuke the Holy Land. Will it stop the killings?
People will start blaming each other, hating each other, killing each other, and the world will descend into chaos. Is that what you have in mind? Chaos in place of order?
An act of war is only a precursor to another, and another. War is the only entity in the world that feeds upon itself endlessly, and once it started, there is no way to end it. Nuking the Holy Land might solve a few issues, but it will definitely start a thousand more. As if the world has not got enough already.
And for those who fight for the Holy Land, maybe they have yet to realise one thing: God does not exist in Holy Land, mosques, churches, synagogues nor temples. He(She) is in our hearts.

Nuking isn't precisely environmentally friendly, now could be it? Nature reserves are super, yet human reserves are extra effective (basically think of of the huge open areas). As for forcing an area to be faith unfastened - the previous Soviet Union tried that, faith basically went underground. you elect extra effective strategies.

I will give you a better suggestion in your own philosophy...
Nuking the holy land will solve Lands problem ... But in your life Still there will be so many problems...
So best is you kill your self.. then there will be no problem at all...
why live and worry about others and worry about making a nuke and taking it up in the air and then dropping it ;)
Your suggestion is like that

Ha, and then people will fight about the area where it once was. And they will go to war with you who nuked it out. Or they'l start fighting about New York.
And besides I live there so don't destroy it. If you nuke out my home I'll nuke out yours in return. So you really didn't solve anything.

Qur'an:
Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with the possessors of the elephant?
Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray?
And He sent against them Flights of Birds
Striking them with stones of baked clay
Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw, (of which the corn) has been eaten up.
These people failed, aren't you meant to learn from history?
