I have 6 body piercings, 4 facial piercings, and 3 tattoos, one I did myself. I'm nocturnal by nature, and never go to sleep before 3am. I consider myself an existential atheist. Naturalistic Pantheism interests me, but not enough to declare myself one. Not yet, anyway. My three passions are Art, Language (including Literature as a subpassion), and Science. I'm blunt, profane, and blasphemous, and what the what is ladylike anyway? I have a strong sex drive which is strange because I used to be nearly asexual. I like boys and girls. I have ADD, thyroid disorder, and I drink heavily semiregularly, 2-4 times a month.

  • Why do people think Scientology is such a crazy religion?

After all, if you think about it, it's not really that much more far-fetched than any other religion. What with christians thinking lions and gazelles coexisted on the same big boat, Mormans believing that jesus was hanging out in present-day america, etc.. Scientology seems to fit fright in with this crowd, huh?

  • Isn't it about time we nuked the Holy Land?

Think about it: We've got all these religions fighting over this piece of land. I say we clear it out and nuke it so there's nothing to fight over. What holy land? Problem solved.

Please know I'm only half serious. The other half is joking. The other half is beginning to plot. I'm one and a half people.

  • How does your gender affect the decisions you make?

When it is just what I want to do vs. what I should do, it's pretty easy to decide ultimately because I can't live completely hedonistically. However, when it comes to things where I feel like I'm expected to act a certain way because of my gender, particularly because it goes against how I WANT to act, I come into conflict. I hate gender roles, so I feel like on one hand I should be able to behave how I want and not be judged any differently than a man, but that's not always how it works. One place this typically is a problem is dealing with sexuality.

Basically what I'm asking is girls, do you find yourself stuck in this kind of situation, and how do you deal with it? And guys, what's your take on the whole thing? Am I making a big deal of nothing, or is it still important that girls play the "girl" role, as in not playing hard like one of the boys?

It's like you have to chose between pure or whore.

  • Naturalistic pantheism?

Is this just another way of saying atheism (as opposed to classical pantheism)? Are there any religions, cults, sects, traditions, movements, etc that are based on naturalistic pantheism? Most pagan traditions seem to be largely polytheisti, which turns me off about as much as monotheism. Naturalistic pantheism, however, I can dig.

  • How soon after becoming pregnant can feelings of nausea kick in?

I've been feeling sick, like I'm going to throw up every morning (though I never do) for about the past week, but if I was pregnant, I'd be less than a month along, so I don't know if the nausea is from something else.

  • Can you be a godless pagan?

Now, many christians may read that and say all pagans are godless, but that's not what I mean. Pagans, I want to hear from you. What is your relationship with Cerridwen, Freya, Anubis, etc? Do you actually belive in these beings, or is it a metaphor? Can you be a pagan and not believe in gods (as conscious beings) at all? Do you think of your pantheon as sentient beings, or is god "in the rain?"

  • Why do people believe in things that have have no evidance to back it up?

I don't have proof that a pink and green spotted weasel that makes rain doesn't live under my porch (I can't see in there), so does that make itn acceptable avenue to explore for the cause of rain? Should I ignore all meteorological "proof" (bastard scientists, what do they know?) simply because I can't prove the weasel isn't there?

You can apply this metaphor to any situation where religion bumps against science: Evolution vs Creationism, the existance of god, etc. Take your pick.

  • Would you be offended if someone converted to your religion out of amusement?

And not because they actually believed in the faith? I used to joke that I was going to convert to Judaism so I could be a nonpracticing Jew.. I've also always been fascinated with the Hindu pantheon of gods, but much in the same way that I'm fascinated with the Aztec gods or the Egyptian Gods. I also like Catholicism because it's so nutty.

So, would that offend you if someone joined your religion for one of those reasons, essentially for sh!ts and giggles?

I also used to toy with the idea of joining a religion only to abandon it and join a new one- sort of like theological notches on a bedpost.

  • Can you tell me anything good about the human race?

Racism. Sexism. Murder. The oppression and disenfranchisement of our fellow man. Slavery. Animal abuse. Self-Centered Vanity. Fur. Torture. Auschwitz. Dachau. Child Abuse. Rape. Corruption in Government. The Slaughter of the Aztecs and the Incas. KKK. Blood for Oil. Destruction of the Environment. Dogfighting. Poaching of endangered species. Holding guns to children's heads to rob them. Hate Crimes. Homophobia. Ignorance.

In a world where it seems like everything we touch turns to crap, Can anybody tell me why the world wouldn't be better off if we were simply annihilated off the face of the earth tomarrow? Is there anything good about us being here?

  • What were the goals of the American revolution?

Besides the obvious freedom from British control, what were the goals of the American Revolution? I know not all of the goals were achieved, so if you could help me out with both the ones that were successful and the ones that weren't, that would be SO amazingly helpful.

  • What do you think of Communism as a multiparty system?

I believe that communism can operate as a mulitparty system much in the same way (actually better) the the system of capitalism does now. After all, not every communist thinks in the same way, so why wouldn't they form different parties In a pure communist system?

After all, who here ever remembers voting for capitalism?
