He needs to put you on his insurance within 1 month of the wedding so that you are covered, but yes you would be covered. All insurances in US cover all members of a employee's family. If you do not get put on right away then they can put you on the next time they come around, but they can hit you with pre-existing conditions and refuse to pay for your treatments. So ask him to bring the paperwork home and fill it out, but do not sign them until the day of the wedding or after you return from your honeymoon and then have him take them directly to work so that they can be processed.

It depends on his health coverage. Also note, most insurance in the US has a 12 month wait period. If u have already been diagnosed with MS, you may not be covered under his plan for 12 months. My prayers are with you.

Great question! Unfortunately, in this country a whole lot of us can't afford insurance at all, so make sure he actually has coverage through his employer. Then, yes, he should be able to add you to his policy, but it will increase his premiums significantly, so you'll want to take that into consideration!

Not everyone in america has insurance .. its something that you can get through his work or something that you will need to buy. Either way this is something you need to speak your bf about .. does he have insurance or not. Is he able to add you .. etc.

Citizenship shouldn't matter, and he should be able to add you to his policy, as his wife. The problem is your pre-existing condition, his insurance company may refuse to cover you.
Might be worth a phone call to the insurance company.

It depends on what type of plan he is on. Most employers will offer health insurance to the employee's spouse, but you may have to pay extra for that.
