warts (this is kinda gross)?
I have a wart on my toe and have gone to the doctors for a few weeks to freeze it. I noticed a few mins. ago that there was a space between the wart and the toe so i scratched it and it came off a little. It was uncomfortable so I peeled off the outer layer of the wart. Now theres black dots (the doctor said that's what represented the wart) and flakes of skin... is that normal? will I have to wait for the wart to grow back and then freeze it again? thanks..

If the wart does start to grow back then yes, by all means go get it frozen again. The speckled appearence is normal. If the wart is resistant to freezing, I have used an old and painless method with excellent results. Take a plain asprin, wet it with warm water and then rub the wart vigorously until it is covered with a film of asprin. Then use duct tape to keep the asprin on the wart. You need to do this consistantly, but in a couple of weeks, the wart will be gone and without a scar. Do it at night before you go to bed and take it off in the morning. This works because the active ingredient in most over the counter wart medicines is 4%-40% salicyclate acid. Asprin is 100% salicyclic acid. Oh, and don't do this if you have an asprin allergy or sensitivity
Good luck.

Sometimes the warts grow back. I used to get worts when I was younger, but recently one grew back on my thumb. I have this liquid in a little brown bottle called TINAMED Wort Remover. It applies like nailpolish. It works. If your wart comes back, its okay cuz after a while the virus that causes them will go away, and with it your wart!

yep, those black dots are the roots of the wart. I had warts like that on the bottom of my foot when I was a kid. I think they were planters warts? I got some kind of cream for them and eventually they went away.

Warts cant be popped. If this "growth" is inside your mouth, its most likely a chancre sore (not an std). If its outside your mouth, its more likely herpes. Get checked out to be safe.

Do you know that they sell wart freeze kits at the drug store? Dr Scholls makes one, and I forget the manufacturer of the other, but I imagine the pharmacist could help you.
