Does anyone know what Government-Related Agency provides $5,000 loans at 1.5% interest rate to the military?

I think the loan was for E-7 and above.

I know before I commissioned USAA offered a "pre-commissioning" loan of $25,000 at 2%. That's a great deal. They have their stipulations though.

1.5% interest. I never heard of it but if they are going to give low intrest rate loans you would think they should give it to the younger guys that are hurting the most. An e-7 and above live well enough to be able to pay a little more intrest.
