My CD-ROM Drive isn't working. Help!!?

I have Windows ME installed on my computer ( I know I need to upgrade but I cant afford it right now). For some reason my CD-Rom drive isnt reading any discs at all. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

Update:

Thanks for the suggestion but how do I find my CD ROM's website?

If the drive worked at one point you probably need to clean it. Buy a CD cleaner disk at Walmart. If it never worked, go to device manager and remove it and then reboot. Windows should try to reinstall it. If that doesn't work, go to the manufacturer's site and download a current driver and install it. If that doesn't work, replace it.

Windows ME may not recognize your CD-Rom drivers (if you have any installed). Try hitting the CD-Rom's website and see if there are any compatible driver downloads. If not, Goggle around to see if there are any substitute drivers. Good luck!

It is probably worn out.. You should just replace it.
