why do children get close (their faces) to their paper while writing?

This is in relation to occupational therapy

    When they do this, you need to have their eyes checked for visual problems, to see if they need glasses. If their vision is ok, they need to be coached about how to hold their books, and papers, when reading and doing homework, because, habits can change eye sight, to the POINT OF NEEDING glasses

    Too many of them have some visual discrepancy. The family usually doesn't pay that much attention to it. Iit therefore is not often caught before they are into hi school. It Is an oversight by parents and teachers..

    concentration--they are literally blocking out disturbances by limiting their visual field to what they are doing...
