Protein in Urine while pregnant?

I had that same problem...they just montor that it doesn't get too high. It is a common health problem to females who are pregnant and overweight...Not saying only overweight ppl get it but it can cause high blood pressure and other things. I know there is more to it. It u dont have a good health plan, doctors can be restricted to doing any more test to this problem. It u look on yahoo health under pregnacy and problems or so.

I was told that protein in my urine meant I wasn't getting enough water. Your doctor can tell you if there is something serious to worry about. For right now, stay hydrated.

I don't know, but I had LOTS of protein in my urine with my first child and was told that it was a warning sign of the preclampsia that I later developed. It was visible with the naked eye. If your doctor doesn't seem concerned, don't worry yourself about it.

If you have protein in your urine, (plus other signs-high blood pressure, excess swelling, etc) they will check you for toxemia. Go here to look at info on it:

Diabetes is usually treated through a combination of diet (low sugar), exercise and medications/insulin. Read here https://tr.im/nT32n

Milder cases can be controlled with just diet an/or exercise while more severe cases require meds or insulin as well.

It may mean that you have some sort of infection. But dont' worry sweetheart, that's what doctors are for. Good luck

it really doesn't necessarily mean anything. If you dont' have bladder/kidney infections, then it could be a sign of gestational diabetes, but if there's not a lot then its probably nothing.

get a second opinion on that.
