I'm a visiting football fan from the States and I want to see West Ham v. Reading on 1 Oct, 06, but I'm not familiar with Upton Park. Which section has the best view, and which section should I avoid, aside from the Away Team Supporters stands?

just pick any part of the ground except the away end and if you are buying your ticket on the day you will find that you wont have much choice anyway. as for views its all pretty much the same and no need to avoid anypart of the ground
