  • How to Park Overnight in Seattle?

I'll be staying in the Belltown area for a few days but my hotel has no overnight parking available.

How do I find overnight parking? I must admit that the parking situation is stressing me out a bit.

Could someone offer some tips or suggestions to ease my mind? Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

  • How can I hack a wireless router? ?

I rent a few rooms in a house, and the owner (my landlord) just left on a three month trip but forgot to give me access to the wi-fi. This was part of our lease agreement. I called my landlord, but he forgot the password and he knows nothing about computers. Also, I cannot access the router directly because the door is locked.

So, I have no access to the Internet in my home, and my laptop mocks me when it says there is a wi-fi signal that I am legally allowed to use per my lease.

Essentially, I need suggestions on how I can obtain the use of my landlord's wi-fi when I cannot access the physical router AND my computer has no access to the internet. (I am typing this out on my dataphone.) In addition, the cable company won't help because I am not listed on the bill. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Girls!! Plz. Answer This About a Crush of Mine!?

I've asked this before, but I'd like a girl's opinion.

There's this girl I work with that I crush on, but we barely speak to each other since we have different work. I know she's cool with me since we bust on each other and laugh occassionally, but we're only at the "Hey" or "What's up?" stage of a real friendship.

Anyway, I found out she has a MySpace page.

Is it a big deal if I added her as a friend? I don't want to drive her away.

    Thanks!

  • Should I Add a Crush as a Friend to my MySpace Page?

    1. I have a crush on a woman in my office.

    2. I do not talk much with this woman besides, "Hello," and "Good morning." However, we have teased each other for working late, and she has always been nice to me, smiles when she sees me, and is always pleasant.

    3. I found out that she has a MySpace account. So do I.

    4. A female friend of mine tells me to add my crush on MySpace. My fear is that I don't know my crush well enough to add her.

    Question:

Since I am only an acquaintance to my crush, is my friend giving me good advice to add my crush to my MySpace page?

I don't know the etiquette for adding people on MySpace. I've only ever added people I knew quite well.

What do you think? Should I request an add from my crush? Why, or why not? I WANT to add her, but I am unsure.

Thanks. Best answer gets the full awesomeness of 10 pts! :-)

  • Why Do People Obsess About Other People They Don't Know?

Why Do People Obsess About Other People They Don't Know?

There is a woman who works twenty feet from me that I have started obsessing about. She is very attractive to me, but I have only been in a handful of conversations with her. We have always been friendly, but we don't have daily interactions.

I didn't tell anyone I felt this way. In fact, I even stopped thinking about her entirely in order to get my work done. This, I thought, was the best way for me to surpress my emotions. I felt that if I stopped thinking of this woman as "dating potential," I would get over her and be able to function at work.

Then, I decided to tell people at a party that I liked this woman, and everything has changed. Suddenly, I am getting people telling me to go for it and start socializing with her. Before, I had been doing my best to put her out of my mind. NOW, I cannot get her out of my head.

Why do some people see an attractive person and suddenly become so enamored and obsessed that it overwhelms them?

  • Would you add someone to MySpace if you weren't really friends?

If you had a friend request from someone of the opposite sex who you barely talked to, how would you react to the request?

Would you add that person? If so, why?

Would you ignore the person's request? If not why?

Finally, would your answer change if you found the person attractive?

  • Can Men and Women Be Friends Without Other People Gossiping?

I am friends with a woman at work and this created a stir of gossip in the workplace because everyone thought we were dating. We are not dating because we aren't interested in each other in that way. We simply talk, and then we go back to work.

Can a man be friends with a woman without everyone around thinking that a sexual relationship is happening?

Feel free to add your own experiences.

  • New Year's Question for Girls ONLY!?

    Hello, ladies.

I am going to a concert tonight without a date. (Stone Temple Pilots in Los Angeles.) It is New Year's Eve, and when Midnight comes around, I don't have anyone to kiss.

If you were single, and you were in the same situation, would you seek someone to kiss at Midnight, or are you content to miss the kiss and move on?

I'm looking for women to answer only. Thanks for reading.

  • Is it important to you to have common interests with your partner?

My ex-gf was upset at me because I felt we had nothing in common. She felt that two people can have nothing in common and still have chemistry. I feel that it's essential to have SOME common interests in order to build a relationship.

What do YOU think? Do you need your significant-other to have some common interests with you, or can you have a meaningful relationship without having any common interests?

  • Can I register a trademark for a word that I did not invent?

    Here's a hypothetical situation:

Let's say I publish a fictional novel and it becomes a best-seller. In the book, I portray characters drinking a fictional soda named, "Black Sauce."

Can someone legally trademark the term "Black Sauce" as the proposed name for their own soft-drink without my consent?

  • What's up with this girl?

One day, a co-worker told me that she never sees movies. I mentioned one movie I needed to see and she suggested we see it together. Unfortunately, I am in a management position and she is not, so our company would frown upon any workplace romance. A day later, she emailed me and said that there are ways that we could see a movie together "accidentally" to get around any rules about workplace romances.

Question is, is she being nice, or is she interested in me?

One last thing: When she told me about her favorite kind of guy, she described my features perfectly.

Is she hot for me, or is she only looking for a movie buddy?

  • How Do I Maintain a Friendship With a Former Lover?

I had a brief fling with a co-worker whom I eventually fell in love with. She got scared (her words,) and she rejected me. Now, we are friends. Unfortunately, I feel those same feelings returning. She has said that I am perfect for her, but yet she recoils from me. Her mother tries to convince her that I am worthy, but to no avail. She gets anxiety and retreats into her shell if talk of romance begins.

How can I maintain a friendship with this woman without these feelings getting in the way? Or, is this even possible?

  • Is a 14 year age difference a big deal?

My friend looks 25 but he's actually 39 and is going on a trip to see a 25 year old woman. He is nervous because he is a good guy and he doesn't want to do the wrong thing. He is always truthful in telling people his real age because he's super honest. I tell him that he's over-thinking it and if she likes him, it's all good.

What do you guys think? Is a 14 year age difference a big deal? Should he make this trip? I told him to go for it.
