How to Park Overnight in Seattle?

I'll be staying in the Belltown area for a few days but my hotel has no overnight parking available.

How do I find overnight parking? I must admit that the parking situation is stressing me out a bit.

Could someone offer some tips or suggestions to ease my mind? Any helpful comments would be appreciated.

Parking on the street is metered from 8 AM to 8 PM, most of this area has a 2 hour limit. Sundays are free.

There are parking lots/garages where you can pay for overnight parking.

Your hotel may have a discounted rate with a specific lot - you might call them up and ask.

If not, here's a list of Belltown parking lots. Pay attention to which say they are 24 hour lots - that's where you'll probably want to park. I'd also reconfirm their 24 hour rate before committing if you can. If you want to be able to have in-out privelages through the night, you also need to reconfirm the hours that the garage will be open. Many are closed from about 11 PM to about 6 AM.

I know the Westlake Center Garage offers 24 hour rates, but they're in the downtown shopping district. You might find slightly lower rates in Belltown, but not by much:

And a reminder - don't leave ANYTHING in your car. Not even in the trunk. Smash and grabs are unfortunately one of the more common crimes in Seattle and they'll break into your car for the change on the dashboard.
