price of gl2?
im looking for a canon gl2, and ive searched on froogle.but its really hard to find one for a cheap price. are there any sites (with high customer ratings) that have it for under $1500, and are not a scam? (anything but ebay, not i have anything against it, but my parents are getting it for me)
ok some of the sellers i found on froogle for around $1500 are banana boat camera, camera city, royal camera, and blujay.com
are these trustable sites, since froogle didnt have a rating for them? (and i know about b&h and all the other well known "trustable" sites. the lowest i found on there was around $2000. anything lower than that thats trustable?)

You can purchase the GL2 from several vendors for less than $2,000 with a catch. And the catch will either be that it is a gray market model (unauthorized import) without a useable warranty or it will come minus the normally included accessories (charger, battery, etc). Of course the vendor will coincidentally have these items in stock and offer to sell them to you at some inflated price.
Stick with reputable vendors. There is no doubt you will regret dealing with a shady dealer.
You can sometimes find the GL2 used on eBay for around $1,500. Sometimes you can get a few valuable accessories in a used deal too.

B&H generally has good prices and are a very reputable company. However I do not think you will get a GL2 for less than 2000 bucks, they are still relatively new. Perhaps a GL1?
