You point to either path and say, "Are you from this village?" If the person answers 'yes' then you are pointing to the truthful village, if they answer 'no' then you are pointing to the lying village

You ask them: Which dirrection would a person from the other village tell me to go in if i wanted to get to village x. You then go down the opposite road.

The reason you ask this is because:

1)If the person you were speaking to was from the village of truth, then he would know that a person from the village of lies would give you the wrong directions, so he would tell you the wrong path as that is what the lier would tell you

2) If the person you were speaking to was from the village of lies, then he would know that the person from the other village woul tell you the truth, but he lies, so he would tell you the opposite form what the truthful person would tell you. Hence sending you in the wrong direction.

You ask him to point you in the direction of the village he is from?

If his from the lying village he will lie and say his from the truthful one and point you in that direction. And if he is from the truthful village he will tell you the truth and he will point you in the direction of the truthful village. So either way they will point you in the dirrection of the truthful village, so you will then know which way is which!

You point to one of the villages and ask him if he lives there. If he says yes, then he is either telling the truth and that is the village where the truth-tellers live, or he is lying, in which case he doesn't live there, so that is still where the truth-tellers are. Vice-versa if he says no.

You ask if someone from the other village would say this is the path to wherever you want to go.

ask him which way is his village, coz if he's from the village of the truthfuls, then he'll tell you where his village, or the place of the truthfuls, could be found. if he's from the village of the liars, he'll tell you the opposite, so you'll know where the village of the truthfuls could be found.

"Am I holding up my right hand", holding up your right hand. This could get very confusing though if the truthful village people have problems with their left and rights :~). Or you could of course just go to either village and buy a drink and chill out by the river, be very careful of course not to talk to any strangers as they might not tell you the truth!

lemme think... alright, i got it, ask the guy "Which way is it to your village?" either way, he'll show you the way to the village with people who always tell the truth

i.e. if it is a truth-tellin guy then he'd show you his own village, but if it's a liar, then he'll show you the other village, which is the village with truth-tellin people

Ask him, "Which way to your village?" No matter which way he points, he will point to the truth teller's village. If he is a truth teller, he'll point to his village. If he is a liar, he'll point to the truth teller's village still.
