The normal range for a fasting glucose is 70-115mg/dL (Allow for some variance depending on the lab used). Your glucose is normal.

No, the previous answer is wrong. A reading of 99 is very good. It's right in the acceptable, non-diabetic range of 70-110 fasting blood glucose. If it gets to 126, a person is diagnosed with diabetes.

99 is good for you and i would not worry sometimes my blood goes up to over 140.

99 is great. If it was over 120 it would be a little high.

Absolutely not. I am diabetic and if I could get my BS to be that at fasting I'd jump for joy. Normal is around 70-110. You're fine.

No, in fact it's good. For fasting anything below 120 is good, anything below 140 is good when not fasting.

It is right in the middle of the normal range.
