Why do the same questions appear over and over ?

Why do the same questions appear over and over? Why can't the questions just show up once so you don't have to scan page after page to find new questions.

if its the same person asking the same question then you can report them for repeated postings. most times its just different people wanting to know the answer to the same question.

  • because it seems that Yahoo only keeps them up for a short period of time. However, you also have to realize that everyday someone new comes to this service and if they've not heard the answers, or asked the questions then they are new.

Finally, there is no such thing as fresh new ideas because of the way people are created many of us have the same ideas or I should say, similar ideas and thoughts at the same time, and various times.

it would take forever to go back and read all of the questions and answers. It's also fun to get new thoughts, ideas, etc. It seems many of you are professionals and have apparently read everything and you know where to navigate this service.

It would be more fascinating I think if we could actually go back and REREAD stuff and you can do that but you have to search for it and then you can't comment because it is closed. What should happen on here is Yahoo should allow you to comment on old posts after you've searched. Afterall they make their money by having us on here doing dumb stuff all day. they sell our info and we use their free emails and companies buy it. They keep us on here and the more points we earn perhaps the higher the market dollar value is for our emails.

anyway, that's my two cents on this situation

Not too many are going to do a search to see if their question has already been asked. It's too easy to simply ask it again. What I don't understand is why people ask their question over and over. I guess they're expecting different answer....some questions only have one answer, but they'll still ask it over and over. That, I don't get!

Your question is being misread. I know what you mean...as you scroll down, you find a previous question repeated. It's annoying.

But what's even more annoying is when people repeat a question that's already been asked and answered. When you type a question, similar questions appear. Why don't they click on one of them rather than repeat and repeat and............

This forum is full of morons! Aarrrrgh!

because people like to ask the same question over and over again.

I find that annoying too, but it must be happening when there aren't enough new questions being fielded.
