Those are serious symptoms and you need to see a Dr. You could have high blood pressure, diabetes, or any number of problems. No one here can give you medical advice.

Hi I think the problem is that you have low blood sugar. I don't think your weight loss is a contributing factor because if anything you should have more energy! Unless you lost or are still losing the weight in an unhealthy way. You should increase the carbohydrate in your diet because that's where you get your energy and make sure every meal includes both carbohydrates and protein because it breaks down slower in the stomach and provides you with sustained energy throughout the day. Include lots of fibre as well like porridge oats for breakfast and wholemeal products instead of white.

Also multivitamin and iron tablets should help. Hope this helps.

Only a blood test can diagnose anemia. For info on diet and how it effects your energy levels, I recommend you read Let's Eat Right to Keep Fit by Adelle Davis, or the second section of Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine by Murray and Pizzorno. Both books will give you good info and discussion and advice on how to improve your health and energy levels.

    Good luck!

You do not give your age, but you must see your doctor as soon as possible for advice. There can be many reasons for this complaint, but you need to find out the correct one. When you see your doctor, be truthful and honest with them. If you have a drinking problem, suffer from lots of stress, whatever, just tell them the honest truth. They will take blood samples to check if anything is wrong. But please do not worry or be afraid of this, your doctor is only there to help you. If you have someone close to you who you can confide in, tell them your concerns, and even ask them to go with you for support. If you are able to discuss your problems, you will feel better, and have more confidence. Please take action strait away, you will be better for doing so. There is nobody on this site (i think) who can help you better than YOU. Good luck, and all the best.

Iron supplements, spinache, molasses on your toast. Myself, lol until recently anyway, I preferred spinache salad. I've been borderline anemic since I was a teenager and this seems to help a lot. When I was diagnosed as borderline my dr. prescribed a very strong iron supplement which worked wonders for my energy, but on the other hand.......well let's just say you would no longer be able to pass gas without anyone knowing, lol. But before you try to treat yourself make sure you really are anemic because too much iron will also make you sick.

You probably have a vitamin deficiency due to your weight loss as well as the possibility of anaemia, supplements are useful but you need to see the doc and get your blood levels checked.

Go to your doctor and get some blood tests. It could be anemia, it could be diabetes, it could be underactive thyroid ....

You need to find out the reasons for how you are feeling first, before you can get the right treatment.

You can take vitamins. I take a multi-vitamin WITH iron supplements. Try that. Anemia is lack of iron, right? Well you need protein and iron. And lots of it. Try that.
