Shouldn't a taco salad have something similar to a taco in it (nachos, taco shells, or something crunchy)?

I just bought a taco salad (because someone on this site made me hungry for one) and it's lettuce and toppings.

How can it be a Taco Salad without a taco shell? Sounds like you got robbed!

No a taco salad doesn't need the high calorie taco stuff.

I know that Wendy's has a "South West" salad that is so good, and doesn't have any super bad stuff in it.

should come in a big taco shell, but everywhere has their own version.

Oh, yes, it should definitely have something crunchy in it. Go back and demand some chips.

It does if you make it yourself. You just have the toppings.
