why doesn't my password show up as those little dots when I type it in?

Why doesn't it show up? Mabye some websites have altered that setting which they shouldn't, because it should always have those little dots. I'm also thinking that someone else is montering your computer or something and can see you password... hmm. Try doing a little computer system cleaning and see how that works out. If now, keeping checking in and out with other answers.

It does that so that people can't see your password, if they are standing behind you while you are typing. I'm not sure if you have spyware that it will work. I think that spyware registers what you type.

It's for security reasons and I do hate it too because I can't see if I've put in the correct word or numbers.

is this happening in all ur password boxes from diffrent sites or is it just one site if its one site its probabbly not much of a site but if its on all ur sites i would run a scan for virus and spyware....now....

so the person behind you does not see the password, or the person monitoring your computer.... however, if you have a spyware keylogger they can get your password...
