do men respect girls who give it up on the first date?

You asked for a mans view on this, but I'll give you a womans view. I feel that most men even if they realize it or not, have MUCH LESS respect for women who have sex on the first date. Respect may not matter in the eyes of the man, though, depending on what exactly he's looking for out of the date. A one night fling, or a potential long-term meaningful relationship? They may ask themselves is THIS girl who is SO fast to jump into bed with me someone who I could have a future with, would I really want to take her home to meet Mom? lol Also, I'm sure he will ask himself how many other guys she has done this with in the past. It all comes down to his morals and what he wants out of the deal.

I think you have to realise that it is extremely likely for a man to not respect nor even be interested in a woman once she has slept with him that early. It gives off the sign that she doesn't respect her own body, also the thrill of the chase is gone so as I said, he may not respect her and he may not be interested in her anymore.

That being said, if a woman does it and comes off in a confident and still sexy way, it may be even more appealing. If he sees it a just a taste and he likes what he gets so far, he may be even more interested. It all depends on how she does it.

However I think overall most men would not respect a woman if she did that.

Well, I almost married one who I gave it up to on the first date. The one I did marry was a virgin at the alter. My brother in law kept telling everyone that we didn't have a very good relationship because we weren't doing it, but I think of all of our siblings, we have the strongest relationship. Waiting makes it more special, and it has a different specialness to him than it does to me because I'm his only one; he is my last in a long line. I just decided one day that my list was long enough and I wasn't going to "give it up" until my wedding night, and the next thing I know, a wonderful 31 year old man who happened to be a virgin was knocking on my door... go figure.

No guys don't respect a girl who gives her all on the first date, there's nothing left for them to explore and men bore EASILY!!

And as for a lot of girls, I don't think you should generalise like that, because not ALL girls do, just the ho's!!

Guys love it but they'll never really trust her. Sex or not is not about respect for guys. They won't respect you more or less either way. But if you want them to know they are special and that you are very cautious before sex, you have to wait. If you have sex on the first date and stay together; the guy will always think that any night you could meet another guy and have sex.

From a woman's point of view...no, not really. And if they do call you back its because they want the as* again and that's it. Been there and done that. Its fine and dandy if that is all you want, but if your feelings are hurt easily, I wouldn't suggest doing it no matter how hot the guy is. If he can't wait, then he ain't worth it anyway. Be your luck he would end up being a one pump chump....lol

Not likely. Generally if the guy is looking to get some on the first date, then that was all he was looking for. If he actually wanted a relationship out of it, he wouldn't try to have sex on the first date. Although this isn't true for everyone, it is true in general.

She aint a **** or anything like that in my opinion but to be honest I have been about a bit, been with a few lassies on the first night, some stunning with really nice personalities but I have never seen anyone of them again, as in a second date.

Where as I have dated lassies again because they havent put out on the first night.

Actually as a man I would respect her more than one that made me run around before she gave it up. Heck, that shows compassion and understanding for the man and his needs. I would respect her so much, I would marry her.
