i prefer face to face as then if im saying something important to the person or something shocking.. or whatever i can see their reaction in their expression because if your on msn and say you tell a joke the person could write lol (laugh out loud) but they probably aint even laughing. but then you could say that i should get a 3 mobile phone were you can see the person your talking to.. the thing with new technologies now were all losing the art of conversation. if someones shy of conversation face to face, they will never get over there fear and become confident (which will help them in future life.. like an interview) as its so easy now days to hide away from having a conversation face to face with new ways of talking or should i say 'typing' such as msn

I always find it easier to talk to someone face-to-face or on the phone. I don't know why but it's easier to get my point across that way.

I would MUCH rather talk to someone face-to-face, rather than on the phone, or via chat, etc. I really miss seeing the facial expressions (even if I can hear his/her tone on the phone--wow that rhymes). Anyway. Mediated communication lacks the full range of possibilities to connect with another person.

Definitely face to face. I have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor which just comes across mean sometimes on the computer, but is more easily read in person.

I dont find it hard to talk to someone in person or virtual. The problem is that I am very open and express my opinions so many people in person tend to shy away from me!

Which kind of sucks. But heck! Who needs friends anyways!

Face to face, most definitely. There is too much lost in communication with one who is not there personally.

only if i can't see them i will talk to them by email, phone. or anything i can to help or chat with this person,

but my mane one to talk is to face them and talk one on one.

that's the best way i think.

this way you can see their face reactions and know how to handle the chat.
