Is fresh juice everyday a good way to lose weight or control appetite?
I'm not looking for weight loss advice and I mean FRESH juice not out of a carton juice. I know bottled juice is full of sugar.

Even if it's 100% juice it is still full of natural sugar.It's not the best route to go to lose weight a glass of skim milk would be better because you get protein calcium and a few vitamins and it less calories per glass than most fruit juices.

Hey are a few helpul hints in weight loss and appetite control.
-Drink a full glass of at least 8 ounces of water 10 minutes before you eat. Water will fill you up, so you wont overeat.
-Keep snacks around and munch throughout the day. Have some slices of apples, baby carrots, grapes and other little munchies and just keep eating. That way you aren't STARVING by meal-time
-Give yourself a 12 break every night before eating another meal. For example, if you eat breakfast at 8am, don't eat after 8pm the night before.
-Eat slowly. It takes 20 minutes for the brain to process that it is full. Usually by the time the brain has told the stomach it's full, you've already over-eaten. Don't eat until you are stuffed, just eat until you don't feel hungry anymore.
-It may be hard, but while trying to lose weight, cut out ALL fast food and carbonated sodas. Also, cut out coffee creamers. I was amazed at how quickly I lost weight!
Exercise daily. It doesn't have to be 3 hours at the gym, but try to go on a 30 minute walk, or swim, or bike ride at least 30 minutes 3 times a day. Try to find ways to move around a little more. For example, don't drive around looking for a close parking place, but pick a far parking place from the store so you get an extra minute or two walking (every little bit counts!) If you work in a multi-level building, take the stairs rather than the elevator every now and then.
Fresh juice drinks are great, and they definately give you energy, but if you drink them as your source of food for the day, you'll find yourself starving and eventually cave and splurge on something bad for you.
These are all seemingly simple things, and when all put together, you get healthy, gradual weight loss. I went from 135 to 117, a size 7 to a size 3, I've kept it off for 3 years, though I have put on muscle weight and now weigh about 128...

No, it's not a good way to lose weight. That's what is typically called a hype. Lots of juices have more calories in them than a Snickers bar. Plus they are loaded with sugars and other junk. If you want to lose weight, stick to water. That always works for me. As to appetite control, drinking juice will not control your appetite. All the sugars in the juice will just make you hyper and more hungry. Again, stick with water. It helps to make you feel full.

The only way to lose weight is to eat right most of the time, around 5 small meals a day which have a good amount of protien in them and have 2, 35min-1hr work out sessions (1-2 hrs every other day and run on weekends. mainly aeobic excersises) thats to loose and keep off weight. if you want to put on muscle do aerobic first then weight train. start off lightly and only do what you can handle. when you think you are ready for the next level try it. And make suer you drink plenty of water, more than 8 glasses a day. A lot more. If you dring gatorade or any of that than do it after ur done working out or towards the end. because water is a HYDRATOR gatorade and ect... is a RE-HYDRATOR REPLINISHER. And juice is good for vitains for life and organ health. i drink gallons of water, 1 qt of gatorade and about 1 qt of a diferent juice everyday.

No. A combination of protein, fiber and fat are great ways to control your appetite. Suggestion: Apple sliced with natural peanut butter. Soups with clear broths are fantastic ways to fill up with low calories. Chicken noodle soup is one of my favorites and I try to eat some sort of soup before dinner, so I don't over eat. Most juices have tons of sugar that will drop quickly in your body and make you hungry quicker than if you were to choose something else. I read below that people lose weight on juice fasts, which is true, but that weight loss is temporary and will come back once you eat actual food.

Everyone is different. Juice can have vitamins and fiber that are good. The sugar is better than scarfing on candy. But it has a lot of sugar. If it curbs your appetite and gives you the energy you need then yes. If you just add it on top of everything, no. The extra calories will make you gain weight.

a lot of people do juice fasts. instead of eating, you just squeeze your own fresh juices to drink through out the day. they say it is great for your immunity, cleans out your body from wastes and toxins, and gives you a great boost of vitamins.
try searching for it online to find out more about it.
i've also heard that it is good to jump-start a diet by doing a 24hour juice fast right before.

i know to say not to try a v8 fast.. i tried it, it went well, and then i read how v8 is not a fresh juice and its mostly made with tomato paste. so you get very little out of a v8 fast.. the best thing to do is buy a juicer and lots of fresh fruit for a juice fast.

fruit juice is high in sugars. it's a good way to supplement a well rounded diet but i doesn't curb ur appetite. anything that causes ur body to go into a "fasting" mode makes it harder for ur body to loose weight that will stay off. it's actually harder to loose weight when ur body goes into fasting mode. Not to mention it's very unhealthy. u not only need the juices from fruits but u need it from veggies too.

Drink water when you feel hungry, that will curve your appetite and has 0 calories. Drinking a glass before you eat makes you eat less because you will feel more full.
