there is one of two ways to go, either you buy an amp with high level inputs (non-RCA) or you will need to get in-line high level to RCA converter and hook it up this way to the amp... I did this on a '99 F150 and I just bought a 5 channel AMP with high level input for the four door speakers and used the fifth channel for the sub,,, worked quite well...O

Some line level converters are better than others some will actuall give you a volume control with it. Yes they range from 12 to 18 dollars but it also depends on where you live and what shops are near you. SOme my cost yuyou 25 or you could spend 50 dollars and up on a specialty piece. Remember you get what you pay for. Sure you can go to wal mart or an actual stereo shop. It all depends on what quality means to you.

You need a "line level converter". They can range in price from $19 - $30. If you pay much more than this, your getting ripped off.
Go to http://www.crutchfield.com/S-QxGQ6foXAjl/cgi-bin/P... for some good ones.
They take the output from the head unit (speaker out) and convert them to RCA.

Nidwal,
How does a line level converter block bass?

You need a new stereo or you won't be about to send that extra bass to the speakers. Just go grab one at wal-mart or if you don't want to spend a lot of money ask on the street!
