After changing my alternator and battery the car seemed to be running very rich like the timing was off. After getting the car home, we disconnected the battery and reconnected it after about 5 min. Now the car won't start at all. It turns over and has plenty of battery but there is no spark at the coil pack. I was thinking it was the ignition control mod, others are saying the crank sensor...Any ideas before I start buying parts???

Car would not start so we changed the alt and battery. Now it runs fine for about 3 blocks and then wants to die. All the lights go crazy and my gas gauge goes up as well. Prior to the car not starting, everything was running fine.,.,.

We spoke for the first time today in 10 years. I am going to see him on Thursday before I can't. My mother is very upset and thinks I should not go. She also thinks I will feel worse if I do go. I'm just thinking that if I don't go, I will regret it...

I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP. My wipers were stuck upright and my blower motor quit working. I have since found a blown fuse and replaced. My wipers returned to the off position once I completed the circuit with the new fuse.(dummy) My display shows the fan settings and temp but I have no fan at all. Is this the resistor or the motor it's self?

1997 Pontiac GTP. Had upper and lower intake gaskets replaced 1 month ago. My mileage has gone down to 6 to 11 mpg. I don't smell a gas leak.( How do I tell if it is a fuel injector leaking. ) When I'm at a stop it seems to go thru the gas. I can watch the mileage drop on the DIC.....

I looked at an 2001 Durango 4.7 with 76,000 miles. KBB gives private party value of $8,310. This is a very clean truck in mint condition. He is asking $10,000 because this is what he owes the bank. He owned less than a year and has 2 years left on warranty.

I offered him $8,500 but would be willing to go a higher. He thought I was nuts and I told him to call me back with a better price. Am I in the ballpark here?

When the car was put on the computer it showed a miss in cylinder 3. What should be my first attempt at fixing this? I'm sure I can change a coil pack if needed or other minor items.

My passenger airbag solenoid is clicking. Can this be disconnected and how do I do this. I was told that it's possible that I have a sensor lining up wrong since it has 17in. rims and they will rub if too tight a turn, I guess maybe pushing the fender to trigger it. The cover inside over the airbag has a dip in it and I'm not sure if there is even one in there. I just bought it yesterday and just getting started.

I'm in WI and was wondering if anyone knew the laws regarding workplace bullying? This would include acts such as 3rd party harrassment, slander and intimidation.

I work at a bar with a woman who seems to have it in for me. When I started 9 mos. ago, she began with implying to customers that I was a "bar slut". Then turning into "my being lazy" and the latest....."I'm a thief". I have talked with my bosses several times and went as far as to write a 3 page letter to them about the problems. Now just to clairify how bad this is......I have to deal with her loud mouth every Friday night for 9 hours strait and then hear all the horrible things she's said in the 4 days I'm off. It's gottten very hard keep my cool. I'm sure this has affected my tips as well.

The kicker.....she gets paid cash and isn't really a legal employee to begin with. She commits fraud every week when she calls her unemployment in.

How do I deal with this garbage when my bosses won't?
