look natural and right. Don't forget, it once was

against the law. Now we have rebels try to change

society saying it's okay for children to have two

mommies or two (or more) daddies instead of

the traditional family that has worked for many

centuries.

First of all, you have to tell us what the percentage of gays in America is. Then tell us what the percentages are in a couple dozen other countries.

After you get that all taken care of, you can tell us just where you got the figures.

If you get those figures from some country that is forever trying to find fault with America, you can be sure the figures are all made up.

I've found that a great amount of America bashing is coming from Muslim countries, or Muslims living here in the US. If you are either of those, at least say so. Only cowards condemn others without giving the condemned a chance to compare.

Here, slurp on this while I enjoy my new two points. Otherwise, I believe the percentage of humans with homosexual tendacies is static throughout the world -- it's the same everywhere. However, Americans with their crazy ideas about free speech and the pursuit of happiness, are able to admit their sexuality in greater numbers. Isn't this a great country? Or do you think gays should slink back into the oppressive closet? Should gays be incarcerated? Should the parents of gays be locked up? Should the parent of a lesbian be precluded from holding political office? What about the little girl in your avatar -- stone her if she grows up gay?

America does not have the greatest percentage of Gays. There is no way to know that number for sure, but it is estimated that there are 10% of the worlds population is Gay. That means that 10% of your fellow countrymen are gay. they just arnn't telling anyone.

I don't know where you got this notion, and I suspect you or your source have a polemic purpose which has nothing to do with a scientific analysis of the matter, but the percentage of homosexuality does not vary from population to population. Sexual orientation is not chosen on the basis of one's culture, and in fact is not chosen at all, but whether it is publicly expressed is a matter of social sanction and tolerance. Obviously gays conceal their orientation in barbarous cultures that would harm them for expressing their sexual preference.

Go to Italy or France, there are so many homos around you can't turn a corner without running into one.

Then again it's hard to tell who's really gay and who just isn't sure, since they all look so flaming in those countries.

I'm not so sure that we do.

Thailand is rampant with gay and transexual behavior.

Also, people are more free here to express themselves.

So, is it that we have a greater precentage of homosexuals or does it appear that way because our society allows these people to be who they "are" and other countries still suppress the same percentage of homosexuals?

I believe it to be the later.

What makes you think America has the largest percentage of gays? Why do you care? Are you gay? Usually, people who ask questions about gays, or people who make fun of gays have homosexual tendencies. Be honest with yourself. Come out of the closet and wear your rainbow tshirts.

no way, france and holland have a much greater ratio of gays than we do per capita, and if one was to buy the idea that 1 out of every 10 people is gay & that gay is genetic, then CHINA and INDIA would have the highest ABSOLUTE #'s of gay persons.

I think it's probably that it's the largest liberal society. More people come out and feel comfortable with their sexuality because of that. There are large gay communities and people don't need to hide.
