Where can I find Number of ww2 veterans still living?

    Better count fast. The number is changing rapidly. The ones I know are all good men, mostly aviators. Met the navigator on the Enola Gay recently (B-29 that dropped the atomic bomb).

    As of the 2000 Census (ending 4/1/2000)

    5,190,508

    As of 2004 (ending 9/30/2003)

    3,518,615

    Figure another 3 years later and the number is less than 2 million BUT the above numbers are the government's own.

    Not sure about veterans but theres a website with all the holocaust victims. You can search google for both

    On Veterans Day website - google WWII living US veterans

    It says there are 3.51 million living veterans from WWII.
