How many businesses did George Bush bankrupt and destroy BEFORE he was elected govenor?

I don't know how many but he did run several businesses that failed. Texas also faced a lot of financial problems after he finished up as governor.

So I guess that baseball team is the only thing he did really well, and given his track record I wonder if that wasn't more a matter of luck than skill.

I know he bankrupted Arbusto, and Spectrum 7. Both were failed oil companies.

Update: He did very, VERY, well with the Texas Rangers. Very successful sale!
