Suppose Egypt invaded Quebec?

If Quebec were a dictatorship & Egypt invaded, putting in their own government & occupying the major cities, then had to put down guerilla fighters. This included Americans who decided to join in the fight. Evidence of whatever-Quebed-was-supposed-to-have-done never comes to light. Egyptian forces torture their POWs. The death toll rises into the tens of thousands, with no end in sight. Power & water for most of Quebec is out. Some Egyptians start calling for obliterating the Christiano-Fascists that threaten Islamic culture. Then Egypt begins demanding the IRA disarm or maybe they'll invade Northern Ireland, demanding to know why the Pope hasn't condemned Christiano-Fascist terrorists.

Does this scenario help explain how the people of the Middle East might feel about US troops in Iraq?

Update:

Just a note--no one has yet answered the question. Not one. Regardless of what anyone believes or doesn't believe about American policies in the Middle East, does this scenario help you see how the average person-on-the-street might look upon events?

I hope you understand that not all Americans feel we did the right thing and warned and argued against the war .We are a minority in America and our opinions mean little against a tyrant like Bush and his flock of twisted followers .

I agree that we are wrong and need to leave Iraq and the rest of the middleeast alone .

But beware plans are already in the making for an esculation of hostility in the region .Several of our military leaders have resigned and left service as they can not be party to furthure middle east invasion .

Get ready now if you have the ability and dig in to protect you land .

Anybody can suppose anything they care to, so I'll do a little supposing of my own.

Suppose a radical dictator in the Near-East supported , trained, and financed terrorists who committed suicide by flying airplanes into buildings in America killing thousands and causing billions of dollars of damage.

Now suppose America doesn't really like having their people killed, so they decide to clean out the training grounds, the dictator who financed them, and the terrorists who are in training.

Does this scenario help to explain how the people of America might feel about terrorists damaging the US ?

No it doesn't because it and you are too detached from reality and don't consider the global consequences and realities of the issues. The fact that this new phrase "Christiano-Fascists" indicates that you are simpleton.

The word "fascist" doesn't enter your story until the word "christiano" does. Why didn't you call the Egyptians Fascist, in your story.

    You are a lunk-head.

China has a one million man army. We have 147,000 troops in Iraq. China could land in Canada with half it's army in reserve. China also has 5 times more tanks then the USA. I would bring our troops home and protect America, not Iraq or Afghan stand with them.
