    "Hi scott.braden!

After reading a little of your history, I suppose you would be interested in change using a business model; however, I relate to change mostly as periods of time combined with maturity.

My memory of changes in my life began mostly in adolescence. Every 2 or 3 years discoveries occurred to me. Like little "time-capsules" exploding in my mind, these realizations would come to me and I felt elation, then depression because of it. Why? I only found out the dynamics of these fits of discovery and depression from my first visits to a professional, which clued me into the methods of recognition for the paradigm I entered each time I received these "discoveries." I felt elated, then depressed after each "discovery" because I was fearfull of giving up the old me for a new me. I evolved like most people. Each "discovery" or "evolution" caused euphoria then depression. Change from who and what I was ... to a new me is always frightening. Maturity is a blessing and a burden. A two-edged sword; however, I have always moved on and up, so-to-speak.

I sincerely hope I never stop growing."

Cavemen used to gather in clans to be more effective hunters, and having a belly full of food and a warm fire was surely very comforting. We need to feel safe, and our natural instinct is to seek safety and comfort. This is why half the country believes the lies spouted by our illustrious leader; if he promises "safety" then people will trade pieces of freedom to get it.

Unfortunately for them, you are correct. Change is the most constant and natural thing in the world, but change means temporarily giving up that comfort that each of us work so hard to achieve. People get comfortable and think, "If I do nothing, then nothing will change and I can stay safe!"

I enjoy change, personally. Sure, I like to have a certain level of comfort, but being able to take on new challenges is exciting! I can also accept that I will probably fail the first time I try something new. But nothing is a total failure, and even if I am unsuccessful I always learn from the experience. I feel this makes me a more well-rounded person than I would be otherwise, and I now count my ability to accept change as a personal strength.

I think a person always fears what he does not know, the unknown. change is a kind of that, the fear of not being able to adjust or adopt in any new situation or circumstances.

some tips to handle the change in your life , like keep thinking that this change is for your own best, everything is gonna be alright, and you gonna deal well with it no matter what. besides keep thinking you are a good guy, so what bad could happen to you, only little cos you deserve the good things.

People like stability and security; change threatens those things, even if only temporarily. There aren't a lot of things truly within our control, so the few things we have power over, we feel a need to protect. I'm not good with change in most cases, but I try to see it as an inevitable part of life and something that can open a new door.

We settle into routines in our life. It depends on the individual personality but I am very prone to becoming set in routines. I have a methodical way of doing things and I prefer not to change that. Really the major changes in my life have been thrust upon me for example a family bereavement brought about a fundamental change for me and opened my eyes to the fact that change is natural and something we have to learn to cope with if we are to move on.

people become accustomed to their surroundings and way of life and sometimes they either cant find their way out of it or they refuse because they think their life would take a dramatic turn for the worse. the way i have dealt with change is to plunge into whatever i thought i couldnt do and then think about it after the fact, and ask myself "was that so hard?" and see what ive learned from it, as well as the positive outcome. if there was anything negative then i chose not to do it again.

I embrace change, but only if I know what i'm getting myself into, otherwise, I fear change, because it is the unknown, and everyone fears the unknown, because it seems to me if there is a fifty fifty chance that the change is for the worse and things are perfectly fine the way they are. I'm gonna stay on the safe side.

It takes you out of you comfort zone and threatens the security you derive from staying right where you are at now, resisting change.

One need to consider that change in itself is not threatening or something to fear but that it will bring about something positive and constructive in the person's life and that it is alright to embrace it.

    fear of changes? =)

take / accept the changes...may it be good or bad..

life is too serious to be taken seriously.. take time to smile and be happy..

if bad, take it as a lesson.. don't lose hope coz there's always

if good, well, retain it or keep it better..

Ex.. Feelings (love).. in a relationship, it's possible that one will be fall out of love, then we need to accept it, no matter if it's difficult or hard for us, but that's the truth.. but don't lose hope, we need to think that someone BETTER is instore for us...

and always remember to pray and ask guidance from our Heavenly Father.. that we will be able to get thru whatever chanllenge / change life will bring..

    p.s. do i make sense? =)
