An occupational therapist (OT) and/or physical therapist (PT) are great resources. These professionals work in public school systems amongst other places. They are very knowledgable on the issues of sensory integration.

Music Therapy can be a very great help to these children. Because music is a non-threatening medium, children often respond better to it than other therapies. There's a lot more to it, and it can all be found here: http://musictherapy.org/factsheets/autism.html
