Lynx is the bus system that serves Orlando, but I wouldn't take public transportation. You're better off getting a cab to Universal. There are an abundant amount of shuttle services, like Mears and Bethany transport, that will take you to Universal, and it will be cheaper than renting a car. These companies are also always outside the park waiting for your when you are ready to go.

Stick with mears or other local cab companies in Orlando.

The I-Ride trolley services International Drive (hence the "I"). There aren't any routes that currently run that route.

From there you only have 2 options either the Lynx Bus (our public transportation) or a taxi. The I-Drive Trolley's don't go down Turkey Lake, they only ride along a small portion of Kirkman RD and I-Drive. If you're up for the adventure you could even walk (done it quite a few times), but you will be on vacation so I'm sure you wouldn't want too. That is a beautiful place to stay at though. Hope you enjoy your trip!

Check out the resort that your staying at, many have transportation for no cost or a fee that is usually less than getting a cab.

Most all the hotels and resorts use MEARS transportation service. They practically run non stop to all the parks, and they are cheaper than a cab.

I know Mears provides shuttle transportation to all the major theme parks in the area- Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, etc. I think it would also be cheaper. A taxi ride from our Disney Resort to Downtown Disney (Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba), about a total of 10-15 minutes cost $25! Chances are it'll take longer to get to the park from your resort. Though, the taxis are usually quicker and the air conditioning always works.

Check out the website. You may have to call to see if they come to your specific resort.

Hope I could help! Have a great time!

There are always taxi cabs waiting to cart everyone to their daily destinations. Your resort may even offer complimentary transportation to the theme parks. I am sure your resort front desk will have transportation numbers for you to call, or they will call one for you.

    Good Luck and Have fun!!!!
