  • Help! I accidentally broke the main key to my boyfriend's Dodge Neon...?

Luckily, he has a spare, but I still want to try to replace the one that I broke. Is there a way to get a copy of the spare made? And does anyone know how much it may cost?

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you!!!

  • Clipping a Guinea pig's nails/claws...?

Our family has a pet Guinea pig that has long nails. Should they be clipped? I used to have pet rats and we would just put a rock in the cage to help grind them down a bit. Will that work for a Guinea pig, or should we be clipping them?

Any help would be much appreciated... thank you! :)

  • I've been spotting the last couple days...??? (Read the details, please)?

Okay, so I started spotting a couple days ago. Very random and not constant. I shouldn't be starting my period for at least another two weeks, and I've never had an issue with my period. It's always right about on time, same time every month. I've never had spotting. It's mostly light pink, sometimes with a couple drops of darker fluid. I'm not on birth control, haven't been for years, and my boyfriend and I don't use condoms. I've heard of implantation spotting, or whatever, so I don't know if that could be it. I asked my mom though, and she said maybe I've had a miscarriage. However, we've only been having sex for, like, three weeks now.

Is that even possible to have a miscarriage after only having sex that long? What is the likeliness of that? And what is the likeliness of it being implantation bleeding?

I'm kind of freaking out here. Not about possibly being pregnant though, 'cause we want a kid. That's why we don't use condoms. But after my mom mentioned miscarriage, that scared me.

Any information or help or stories of others who've experienced this would be VERY MUCH appreciated!!! :)

    Thank you!

  • What's the name of this band or song?...?

A few months ago there was a music video I saw, probably on MTV or VH1... anyway, I can't remember the name of the song or the band. The music video was mostly animated, I think. The main things I remember of the video - it was mostly black and white (I think), and it showed the band walking with a little female (a female member in the band?) following, floating around and helping destroy creatures. I remember the music video ending with a giant cat-like creature popping up behind the little floating lady.

Anyone know what song I'm talking about???

Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated! Thank you!

  • Homemade onion rings... water or milk?

My husband and I are attempting to make homemade onion rings... we've heard that after slicing the onion it should be soaked in a bowl of water or milk before being dipping it in the batter. What do you soak it in, water or milk?

Thank you for any help! :)

But I was wondering... do you get real stickers every time you get another 20 stickers? Or is it only the first 20 they mail?

    Thanks! :)

  • Trying to find out the name of a peanut butter snack bar from the '80s...?

My husband's recalling a snack bar he used to enjoy when he was a kid of the '80s growing up in Connecticut. It was a stick of peanut butter covered in chocolate and then covered in some sort of crunchy texture. He's not sure if it was covered with rice crispies or maybe some kind of crushed up Butter Finger-like stuff.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!!!

  • Trying to find a food/candy product from the '80s...?

My husband and I are trying to find out the name of a fruit snack-like bar that was sold sometime in the '80s. My husband was living in Connecticut at the time, and he would find this fruit snack-like bar at the grocery store in the aisle with fruit snacks, granola bars, cereals, etc. He thinks it was called Tutti-Fruitti (Tootie-Fruitie, Tooty-Frooty?) But he's not sure if it was the actual name or just what he called it. It was about 6 inches long, about an inch wide, and about 1/4 inch thick. It was red and like a gummy fruit snack, and it had a white stripe down the center.

Does anybody have ANY idea what fruit snack-like bar/thing he may be thinking of???

Any help and ideas would be very much appreciated! Thank you!!!

  • Is Helen Hunt in the music video "Heart and Soul" by Huey Lewis and the News?

I was watching the music video for "Heart and Soul" by Huey Lewis and the News last night, and I swear there's a quick clip of Helen Hunt dancing at about 56 seconds into the video. I tried searching online and haven't found any verification that it's actually her.

Here's the link for the video...

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TdaXhpjHws&ob=av3n

Pay attention between 55 and 57 seconds. Anyone who knows who Helen Hunt is... it seems unmistakable. It HAS to be her, RIGHT???

  • Are there different Netflix packages or something? (Read more)...?

A family member of mine had signed up for Netflix a couple months ago. During recent visits we've been watching different movies and TV shows, and now I want to sign up. However, I notice they really don't have a large selection like they say. If I look at the website it says they have tens of thousands of movies. I tried searching for the Harry Potter movies and the Twilight movies, and it says they have them. But when I'm at my relatives and I search for these movies, they don't have them...

    What's this about???

I understand the first month is free when you sign up, then it says $7.99 a month after that. Is there an upgraded package or something? Or why can I not find any of these movies when my relative is logged into their account? Literally, there's thousands of movies they claim to have on the website that are missing when they're actually using Netflix.

  • Is it legal for the police to arrest without a warrant in this situation?

    Here's the story...

I live in the state of New Hampshire. A couple months ago my brother got into some trouble, missed his court date, and therefore had a warrant put out for his arrest. He was living with my mother at the time and they weren't getting along, and she didn't want to get into any trouble for housing someone with a warrant so she went to the police station to see if they could go and pick him up. The cop saw that her eyes were red, puffy, and watery and assumed it was because she was drunk, which was not the case. She had been crying for a couple hours, fighting with my brother, so of course her eyes were red and puffy. The cop asked her to do the breathalizer test and she refused. They ended up arresting her even though they had no proof that she had been driving drunk.

At court the other day, the cop admitted that no officer had actually seen her driving and that they had no surveillance footage of her driving either. The judge seems to think that this was not a legal arrest because no one actually saw her driving and she wasn't removed from a vehicle by the police, and that the police would have needed to issue an arrest warrant in order for it to be a legal arrest. If they had actually seen her driving or if she'd actually been pulled over by police, then it would have been a legal arrest without a warrant. But that's not the case, so the judge thinks they would have needed an arrest warrant in order to arrest her, and he's considering throwing out the case.

The judge is giving my mother and the prosecutor a chance to write memorandum.

I'm just wondering if this was a legal arrest, or did they need a warrant?

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY HELPFUL ANSWERS!

  • About getting a collateral loan...?

Ok, so my husband and I need money. We have a debt to pay off to our old bank. Our account was closed because of an overdraft we were unaware of. Our debt with the bank is about $70. The other reason we need money is because my husband's car needs some work done. About $1,000 worth of work.

My husband currently has a job. Business is finally starting to pick up again, so soon he'll be making a few hundred dollars a week. I will soon begin working as well, so soon we'll have two incomes.

I was wondering, would we be able to go to another bank and ask for a collateral loan on his car to pay off these debts?

If we could wait a month or two until I start working, we wouldn't have to worry about getting a loan... but I think the car's going to explode if we don't get it fixed now. We've aleady been driving it in this condition for a couple weeks, and it just keeps losing power. If the car dies, then we're totally screwed because we won't be able to get to work to make money.

  • Can a business force an employee to pay for gas to deliver orders?

My husband recently got a new job at a restaurant. He was hired mostly as a pizza delivery guy. My husband asked how the gas is supplied and the boss told him he had to pay for the gas himself. Is this legal? I mean, that's just ridiculous. I don't see how it could be possible that a business could force their employee to pay for gas to make deliveries for the business.

Can anyone tell me if this is legal?

And could anyone find anything online verifying whether it is or not?

    THANK YOU! :)

  • How do you get money back from bail?

My brother was arrested a couple weeks ago because there was a warrant out for his arrest. His bail was set at $540. I met with the bail lady, she took the money, gave me a receipt, and said I'd be able to get the money if he doesn't get in anymore trouble before his court date and shows up for his court date. He has court tomorrow morning.

How do I go about getting my money back? Do they mail out a check or is there somewhere you go to pick up the money?

  • Can I get a prescription for pain killers when I'm having my period?

Ok, so I'm almost 23 years old and it seems my periods just keep getting worse the older I get. The first couple days are just unbearable. The second I start, the cramps start. A few years ago I'd have my period... it'd suck and all that, I'd get cramps... but nothing like recently. For the past year I've been getting these cramps that will not stop (literally, non-stop) for, at the very least, 48 complete hours. I will be crying, screaming, and writhing around in pain. I can't get any sleep (neither can my husband 'cause of all the noise I make), and the pain's so intense that it will make me sick (even if I haven't been able to eat all day and have nothing to throw up, so I'll spend hours in the bathroom just dry-heaving, gagging, and choking.)

I've tried Advil, Tylenol, Midol, Pamprin, ibuprofen... nothing helps. I'd overdose on those before I could take enough to relieve the pain. I'm not at all exaggerating. The pain is ridiculous. All I can imagine is that if someone were to stab me in the lower abdomen and twist the blade back and forth repeatedly... well, it couldn't possibly be any more painful than what I'm already experiencing. I'd get my tubes tied to stop having my period... but I want to having children before doing that.

Can a doctor write a prescription for painkillers and maybe nausea medication just for the week that I'm on my period? I mean, obviously, it's the doctor's choice, depending on what he thinks of my situation... but has anyone been able to get a prescription for their period? Or know of anyone who has?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)
