i wouldnt pay it, since its his fault for not doing the cost of postage correctly. its the sellers fault not yours.

or if you want to sent it, goto paypal.com etc log in. and sent the $5 to the person email address.

you shouldn't have to pay him for the extra $5.00 as once the ebay auction ends, your contract is closed and should be honored. You can always report it to ebay. But if you want to pay for the extra $5.00, get his paypal email address and click on send money, add the email addr and fill in the rest of the info.

you shouldn't pay him at all. basically, he underestimated the shipping costs and now it's eating into his profits from the sale. either he's a newbie or just plain stupid. you paid what you agreed to pay under the rules of the auction. for him to come to you asking for more money for shipping, well, it's just too bad. if you don't want to make a big hassle about this and just want your item, send him the money along with your auction# and the reason why you are sending it to him. butm if I were you, I'd tell him straight up that it's his fault for not calculating shipping correctly and to jost go ahead and send you the item. this is not your fault but his. all a matter of how you want to handle the situation though really.

DO NOT DO IT. Go into the despute council if you cannot resolve this with the seller. I had the same thing happen to me and the person had to ship it to me for the amount listed and what the shipping calulator said. It was his mistake, not yours.

Go back into Paypal and SEND him the $5. He will know its from you....

If your having trouble figuring out how to send it to him.. ask him to send you a payment request via paypal and that will help you make the payment.

Log into your paypal account, click the "send money" button and it will ask you for his email address and the amount.

You can ask him to send you another invoice and send you the link so you're able to pay.

Otherwise you can use his email address and put who it's from and why in the notes section.
