Whats with this rumor that Yahoo is going to shut down at the end of the year?

Anyone know any particulars?

    If that were the case, why would they still be making such a hard push for their new yahoo mail system? If they were going to shut down it would save them a ton of money to just forget about it.

    It's probably just a rumor. I haven't heard anything about it, though.

    Well, i do think it's not true.

    if it's one of those forwarded emails that says forward these to 20 or more people etc... then... it's not true. you know rumors...only rumors.
