I read questions and answers all the time. Why is it that people can't spell?

People are in a rush to answer first so they don't stop to check spelling. Others are just oblivious to the fact that their spelling sucks. And some think it's cool to use slang to the point of being incomprehensible. Welcome to the cyber age.

HAHAHAHA LOL! I know what you mean I use the spell check even for a simple little thing like this, because I know I type fast and always end up mistyping a word. Samya J that's Hilarious! I do hate seeing horribly misspelled words in other people's answers, it's hard to pay attention to that person's point of view when the have horrible grammar and can't spell worth a D***!

You are right. I have the same problem only i started reading this a day ago. What i think that the people that don't spell correctly, and i don't mean that they misspell a word or two , i mean that they are shortening words.Those people are probably teenagers who do nothing but hang out with their messed up friends, go partying and don't do thier homework, especially English homework.

As for me I love typing. I'm so addicted to it. And i spell my words out.

I agree, a lot of people do not check their spelling or grammar. It depends, whom you are talking to. Maybe they are in a hurry, or they have just overlooked some things in their words or sentences. But there are also a few people who would turn their back from just earning points to being responsible both in their words including spelling and grammar...BUT, as long as you can be understood and its not a matter of life and death, we can make mistakes from time to time....

I agree... use the spell check. I do. I guess there are times people get in to big of a hurry and forget the spell check or to preview their answer.

Notice how all the stupid ho-bags are all "Why does it bother you, we have a different way to spell things...schnarf, scharf." You are totally right. If the mispelling isn't so bad that I can actually comprehend, then I let it go, but some people....you can't even understand their question.

That's because in our society of e-mails and text messages. People have begun a new way to type and think so it fits on such a small forum. I personally use correct grammer and spelling. It keeps my mind as sharp as a bag of tacks.
