Why would all these people use this "ask" feature, instead of googling?

You wait days for an answer, have to sort through ridiculous answers when all you have to do is hit up a search engine?

    Because it is more fun and also you get to meet people that you usually do not get to meet on Google.

    i have thought the same thing. some questions i can understand the reason for using this, but many are so easy to just search, i think it might be a lack of knowledge or just a lethargic approach to a search.
