this sentence basically means that in time all pain goes away. Everything that now hurts in time the pain slowly goes away and it diminishes slowly. Time has a way of making us forget. That is what it means. Time heals all.

It means that no matter how bad things are at the time...such as a death or a breakup...as time passes the pain is not so acute and you can cope with it better.

as time passes, all things that seemed horrible or difficult seem to fade and fall further from your mind. You may still think of it, but with more and more time, you live more of life and the initial feelings fade.

Eventually you forget, eventually time heals. Time is the best cure (a cousin of "land" as well)
