What is the best way to remove hard water stains from a car with Black Paint?

I have hard water stains on my Black Lincoln Towncar. The water is from the sprinkler system in my front yard. The water left hard, calcium like deposits and will not wash off.

What is the best way to remove these spots from black paint or a chrome finish?

go to the car wash...wash it then use the spot free rinse...this will remove most any surface stains.

Use Palmolive Original formula to wash it and then chamois it dry. Compressed air works well but is a luxury for most. If this has been happening over a few years then you need a good buff. Otherwise it will dry off fine.
