Just save the file as a .ppt file(the default) and then upload the file as an attachment and send the email. If you are really unsure that they have an up to date version of power point under file type when you click "save as" choose for Powerpoint 97 or 95 and name file pptfor95-97.ppt and *** that as an attachment also.

    Hope this helped

Have you tried sending the document from within the document by using the option - File - Send to - Mail Recipient (as an attachment). This works if you are using Outlook as your email.

ppt for a power point presentation

.pps for a power point show

The show runs automatically without the receiver having to know much about running the power point. To get it the way you want, you can set it up with timings too.
