anybody can recommend a good anti virus program for my pc?

i have so many pop ups...and its so annoying....

    Use Avast Home edition which is free; it updates frequently.

    Sounds like you need more than a AV program now. I have provided a link that will walk you through disinfecting your computer. The link is free. The site is free. The help is free. Hell even the software they recommend is free.

    AVG Anti-Virus... although I doubt it will help your pop-up situation... that's usually caused by spyware/adware.

    if you are having trouble choosing light weight anti-virus program, just go for antivir personal classic edition.. its free ware... you can download it from http://www.free-av.com/

    if u want pop up blocker then just use any of the yahoo/google/msn toolbar...each of them has pop up blocker.

    It has antivirus, firewall, antispyware and antispam all in one.

    There is FREE 30-day trial version. I'm using it myself. It rocks!
