Creationism: If Noah's flood took place 4,500 years ago and there were just 8 people on board, estimate how many children would each person have to have to reach the current population of 6,446,131,400 (July 2005 est.) people?

2.2 (per couple)
or 1.1 per person
4,500 years, 20 years per generation, that is 225 generations
if the population increases by 9.55% per generation (i.e. 2.191 children), that is more than 6.5 billion.
Wonder of compounding.
So it could easily be done.
If we include that the black death killed 50% of the people in 1351, then it goes all the way up to 9.88%, or 2.198 children per couple)
[I corrected my earlier estimation slightly]
If we assume original two homo sapiens started on the African Savanna about 200,000 years ago, it drops down to 0.22% increase per generation, or 2.0044 children per couple

Your question doesnt take into account how old people are when they have their first child. Creationists have reverse engineered a math formula to make it seem like the population is exactly what it should be, given the 4,500 year 8 person fable

Well I know 1/4 of today's population could be descended from 1 of the 4 couples.

Cool question. Here is another. If you are going to put God into the flood equation, then why not into the population explosion equation as well?

You need to remember the black plague killed 25-50% of the worlds population, (depending on what history source you choose).
That will deeply impact you algebra quiz.

I'm thinking that each of those 3 women would have had to born about one kid every year for about 50 years, and none of those dies for it to be even close and then only if their ofspring had about 10 kids each.

Not sure what your question is.
It's a mathmatical exponential equation with variables.
Births, deaths, different life span expectancies, etc.
And what difference would it make anyway?

I think you are just supposed to ignore things like maths, statistics and common sense when you are a creationist.

Do you expect any creationist to be good enough at math to give you the right answer?
