That would be a good idea, you can go to manganews.net and look up authors and find their other titles. Scanlations also tend to be better when it comes to translation.

...Love Hina is my first choice. its a lighthearted romance with lots of comedy... and sending of the lead male charater to orbit... Fushigi Yuugi is another one with a good romantic story and adventure. Chobits is another one. Ah! My Goddess is another good one.

paradise kiss is the best selling romance manga but it a little bit serius
