Ideas in order to start communicating with my parents.?

There is no communication between me and my parents and I want to develop a better relationship with them.

How should I start communicating with them?

I want simple ideas that will spring up a conversation.

    I think that you could start by showing some interest in what your parents are doing...offer to help cook dinner or clean up after dinner. Ask your Mom or Dad a question about when they were your age...or about their parents/your grandparents. Any connection you can make will open the lines of communication.
