Has anyone found their birth family?
Were there any siblings? Were you surprised how alike you were both physically and charactistically? I found my birth father after 52 years and discovered 5 siblings. I was astounded just how alike we were not only physically but also our personalities were very similiar. They were all raised together but I was not only raised by someone else but in a different country.
Emily sent me an email re seaching for birth parents I am having trouble responding because you have not confirmed your email address.

I have found my birth family...or should I say they found me :)
I have 2 sisters and one half sister and one brother. It is my belief that my brother and I are the most alike in personalities. My birth mother is an absolute angel in my opinion! My birth father has passed away and I do not know much about him as of yet.
So many things happen in our lives for a reason. Like footprints in our hearts these encounters leave us with much knowledge that helps us on our own journey in life.
I am very happy for you and wish you much joy!

I was 16 when I found my birth mother and found out that my birth father was/is a dumass.
My birth mother introduced me to a half sister who is precious to me. She is 30 and she has down's syndrome.
My mom and I have had a rocky relationship since we met because she wanted to be my "mom" and by the time I was 16 so much had happened in my life that I felt I didn't need 'another mom" I needed a friend.
I am glad to hear that all went well for you and I hope that you and all your siblings will grow to be very close.
Congratulations and God Bless You and all your new (and old) family.
