How do you shower?

I always shower the same way. I shampoo my hair first (I usually do it twice), Then wash it out, and then comes the conditioner, I leave it in my hair while I wash my self all over (^_^), then wash out the conditioner. I think it's the fastest way, it can take from 15min. to 45min.

I, too, begin with a shampoo. But I don't lather rinse repeat, despite instructions that tell me to do so. I also use a shampoo = conditioner in one. However, I have very little hair left on my head, and what is there I keep shaved to a quarter inch. After the shampoo, I take a long exfoliating cloth and pour Dr. Bronner's peppermint castile soap in it. Then I lather up my chest, back, naughty bits, glutius maximus, upper thighs, calves, and feet. My hands and arms get plenty o' soap on em by washing everything else. I rinse off, and then often spend a water wasting amount of time luxuriating in the warm water spray.

15 to 45 minutes???? What, are you crazy?

I get in the shower and shave my legs, armpits, etc. Then I shampoo my hair. Just once, but I do it well. I rinse it out while "flufffing" hair to get out all the shampoo. I then Put the conditioner in. I leave it in for 2 minutes while I suds up my feet, toes, knees, etc. with a washcloth and soap. Then I rinse it all at the same time, "fluffing" up the hair to get it all out. I then leave the shower. Time spent - 8 minutes, 10 mins. if I'm very slow.

I bring my cockatoos into the bathroom. Depending on which one is messier or showered most recently, one of them goes on the shower door and the other sits on the toilet seat.

Then I wash my hair and body with shampoo and condition. I use Blonde Shampoo by John Frieda because it doesn't irritate my skin.

I then comb thru my hair. If Boo is sitting on the shower door, he usually hops in with me at this moment and perches on my arm while I rinse off (and soak my bird in the process). If it's Swift's day, she usually hops in as soon as I get out the conditioner.

I leave the wet bird on the shower door while I dry off, and the nonwet one usually ends up hanging upside down from my hair anyway (until I put a towel on my head).

Then, I take both birds back to their room and give them treats and finish drying off.

This usually takes atleast 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how wet the birds want to get (Boo often likes to get SOAKED and prolong things as much as he can).

My routine is almost the same, except I add face cleansing after everything else. For me it comes with being acne-prone t.t
