How is Bush not have dictatorial power?

Update:

Agnon, are you sure we asked for it? Ashcroft switched the Patriot Act bill before voting and many bitched it wasn't the one they read.

When you consider the Americans that were jailed by FEMA in Seattle during the WTO metting for months - it's not that we didn't get what we wanted, it's we don't care if Bush is the decider and the precedent he set for all other presidents in the future.

So if I question Bush, I'm not an American? That's why they called it the Patriot Act - jailing Americans with no evidence or due process for life is ok with you then.

Because he is in the USA and he answers to the governing body and the american people. All the Shi*t He's doing is because the majority of the American "voting" people want him to do it. Otherwise they would have thrown his asz out in the last presidential election. hope that answers your question. We ask for it we got it. save your freakin tears for the brave soldiers coming home in body bags. :(

There's a thing called the Constitution, and that will make sure Bush doesn't push his luck too far with misusing his powers for his own personal and political gain! That will keep him in check for a change!
