Need help with my persuasive essay topicI?
I decided to go with a topic on persuading people into saving money when grocery shopping by doing several things. How would i put this into a thesis for my first paragraph. I'm not trying to make you do my homework. I've already gotten 3 books from the library...researched online. and i have all my statistics and stuff I need. Just wanted some help on a good thesis statement.

The first thing you need to ask yourself is this: why do you want people to save money on grocery shopping? The thing is...shoppers have a great deal of brand loyalty. I will always buy one brand of orange juice over another, and there are few products I'm willing to go generic on.
The best way to save money is to buy generic, so why don't you create a thesis around the idea that generic products are the same as name-brand, therefore shoppers should buy generic.
