I don't think all dictators have similar personalities. For example Napoleon has an inspiration to expand and glorify his country and self esteem. Hitler planned to exterminate the Jews and to create Araian nationalism. Id Amin was a hypocrat egaged in destroying his own citzen for nothing but for the sake of his barbarian need. The same is true for dictatorial leaders in the backward world. Some achieved remarkable fame, others commited historical crime.
